Cowries are Cool – should that be on a t-shirt? These little snails have a gorgeous indented shell, which when you touch is feel silky smooth. Thats because the mantle, which is basically snail skin, covers not only the entire body of a cowrie but the shell as well! I havent been lucky enough to film (just photograph) a cowrie, but if you want to know more comment below and  I will make a Sealife Sketchbook video about them – like this one.
