Sealife Superheros

Join marine biologist Elizabeth Mills on a superpowered ocean adventure around the world. From the deep sea to the rocky coast we will be gaining the powers of oceans most bizarre sea creatures to stop the threat of the oceans newest supervillain. Learn about ocean habitats and amazing animal adaptations in this interactive, choose your own adventure style science show. What type of sealife super hero will you become?

Come meet the stars of UK sealife! We met the celebrities off the shore, showcasing the weirdest and most talented sea creatures you can find in the UK in just a pair of wellies. Paint and Learn about Sea Creatures

Listening to a lecture doesn’t have to just involve taking notes, in this workshop you learn all about an incredible sea creature whilst learning how to paint them in their ocean habitat. By drawing we can notice anatomy, ask extra curious questions and discover more about awesome sealife. This sessions is full of facts, fun and combines the worlds of science and art!

 Nature Journaling Workshop 

Connecting with nature through art can be a true joy. In this workshop we will pick a marine animal or habitat to focus on. Whether out in the wild ourselves or online, Elizabeth will walk you through how to use a nature journal to document new species, facts and nature encounters. With guided activities, marine biology facts and artist top tips!

Guided Rockpooling Sessions

Want to get your organisation, event participants, students, festival-goers out and exploring the wonders the UK coastline? Join a marine biologist – and rock pooling expert – on a guided walk of your local beach and connect with the nature on your event doorstep!

(Worried about having to cancel in bad weather? Don’t worry I have a hundreds of photos of marine creatures so we can take the tour inside with a ton of fun facts, games and imaginary exploration!)

Marine Monsters

This workshop teaches people not only about the amazing rockpooling creatures on their local beaches – but gets them to think about ecology too!

Marine Biology Career Talk

 What exactly is marine biology? What is the day to day activities of a marine biologist? How do I become a marine biologist? What’s a cool marine biology fact?! Answer all these an more in a bespoke career talk aimed at helping people learn about and decide is marine biology is a career for them.

Talks from ages 7+ which will be tailored to the audience age.

 

Sea Creature Deep Dives

Want an exciting, informative and funny talk all about the weirdest and most wonderful sea creatures – well look no further. I offer talks about ocean animals and environments from a few minutes to an hour! My talk are often illustrated, full of photos, videos and props!
